Biography

Born in Albany, Western Australia, Ernest James Harewood was a married minister when he enlisted on the 24th of October 1916.
He was awarded the honour of the Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and was also mentioned in despatches.
Ernest returned to Australia on the 19th of July 1919 and was discharged on the 3rd of August 1919 due to his appointment being terminated.
