Harry Errol Williams (SN 6/738) was born in Ballarat and attended the Mt Pleasant State School. On 11th August 1914 he enlisted in the 6th Battalion of New Zealand’s Canterbury Infantry Regiment. He was killed in action on August 7th, 1915, at Gallipoli. He has no known grave, but his name is on the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial at Gallipoli.
