George Edward Buchanan Munro was a Lieutenant in the 24th Infantry Battalion. He was born in Alfredton, but enlisted from Gardenvale on 27th March 1915. He was 24 years old, sin le and a commercial traveler. He was wounded at Ville-sur-Ancre, and died on 25th May 1915. He is buried in Vignacourt British Cemetery, France.
