Biography

Raymond Arthur William Smith enlisted in Brunswick, Victoria at the age of 21 on the 20th of April 1917. He had been born in Homebush, Victoria, was single and was employed as a Civil Servant. He volunteered and was stationed with the Provost Corps later transferring to the 2nd Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps with the Regimental number 18731. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 4th of January 1920. Tree number 3808.
