Biography

Born in Ballarat, William Percy Mitchell was a single 18 year old jeweller's assistant at the time of his enlistment in Geelong, Victoria on the 23rd of March 1918. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A37 Barambah on the 31st of August 1918.
William returned to Australia on the 26th of February 1920, and was discharged on the 20th of March 1920.
