Born in Ballarat, William Albert Jones was a single 21 year old horse driver at the time of his enlistment on the 15th of September 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 7th of March 1916.
William was discharged as medically unfit on the 22nd of October 1918.
