Biography

William Alfred Waltho was born in Prahran but enlisted from Richmond as a maltster on 3rd February 1916. He was 36 years old and married. He was posted to the 24th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 4785. On 3'd May 1917 he was killed in action at Bullecourt. His name is on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
