William Culliny Colbourne, Ballarat-born Miner, enlisted as a Private on 6th of March 1917 as a 45 year old married man with the Recruits Battalion and was then transferred to the Miners Reinforcements Seymour. Upon further transfer to the tunneling Company William was deemed medically unfit and was then discharged from service. William never left Australia and was enlisted for a total of 119 days.
