Biography

William Albert Constable, a married Burrumbeet-born Painter, enlisted as a Private in the 29th Battalion, 10th Reinforcement on the 12th September 1916. The unit embarked from Melbourne aboard the HMAT A16 Port Melbourne on the 21st of October 1916.

He returned to Australia on the 2nd of March 1919.
