Biography

Gerald Lewis Tuxworth, a Carisbrook-born Clerk, enlisted as a Private in the 8th Battalion, 8th Reinforcement on the 19th June 1915. The unit embarked from Melbourne aboard the SS Makarini on the 15th of September 1915. Gerald would later see a rank of Driver through the 5th Motor Transport Company.

He returned to Australia on the 20th of May 1919.รก
