Biography

Joseph John Webb (SN 1787) was born in Golden Point, and on March 26th 1915 he enlisted as a photographer living in Ballarat. He was 21 and single, and was posted to the 24th Infantry Battalion. On September 23rd 1915 he was killed in action at Gallipoli, and is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Turkey.
