Harold Edward Hall (SN 3327) born at Ballarat, was a 20 year old clerk when he enlisted in Ballarat on January 8th 1915. He embarked aboard the Ajana on June 4th and in late August he joined the 6th Field Ambulance at Gallipoli. Back in Egypt after Gallipoli he was transferred to the 12th Field Ambulance with whom he served in France from June 1916. He came safely through the war and returned to Australia on nursing duty aboard the Dongola, disembarked at Melbourne on May 16th 1919 and was discharged on July 15th.
