Biography

Born in Clunes, Victoria, Frederick Hepworth was a single 21 year old carpenter at the time of his enlistment in Ballarat on the 15th of March 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT Ajana A31 on the 4th of June 1915.
On the 12th of March 1916 Frederick was appointed as a Warrant Officer. On the 26th of December 1918, he became an Honorary Lieutenant.
Frederick returned to Australia on the 24th of August 1919 and his appointment was terminated on the 30th of October 1919.
