David Fisher was born in Windermere, and enlisted on 27'h August, 1914, from Morphettville, SA. He was 26 years old, single and a grocer. He was posted to the 10th Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 620. He was killed in action at Gallipoli on 9th August 1915, and his name is on the Lone Pine Memorial, Gallipoli.
