Paul Grieg Dane was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland was married and was employed as a Medical Practitioner. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 34. He volunteered and was stationed with the 6th Field Ambulance as a Major later Lieutenant-Colonel. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 30th of August 1916. Tree number 629.
