Biography

William Richard Todd was born in Ballarat and enlisted there on 22nd July 1915. He was 20 years old, single and worked as a farmhand. He was posted to 23rd Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2814. Later he was transferred to 58th Infantry Battalion. On 9th August 1918 he was killed in action near Lihons, and is buried in Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, France.
