Biography

Herbert Wormald was a single 33 year old miner from Ballarat when he enlisted as a Private with the 22nd Battalion, 2nd Reinforcements on the 27th of April 1915. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A64 Demosthenes on the 16th of July 1915. He returned to Australia on the 22nd of May 1919 and was discharged on the 22nd of July 1919 due to the termination of his enlistment period.
