Frank Davies was born in Merino, Victoria was single and was employed as a Mechanic. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 21. He volunteered and was stationed with the 24th Battalion, Headquarters later transferring to the 1st Anzac Battalion with the Regimental number 79. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 8th of March 1917. Tree number 685.
