Biography

James Gordon Anderson enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 29 on the 21st of May 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Chemist. He volunteered and was stationed with the Hospital Transport Corps, later transferring to the Army Hospital Service with the Regimental number 242. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 12th of April 1917. Tree number 702.
