Biography

Herbert Edward Marks enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 27 on the 13th of July 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Jeweller. He volunteered and was stationed with the 2nd Australian General Hospital, Special Reinforcements with the Regimental number 8199. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 1st of January 1916. Tree number 709.
