Biography

Born in Ballarat, Andrew James was a single 20 year old blacksmith when he enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria on the 8th of June 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A67 Orsova on the 17th of July 1915.
Andrew was discharged on the 16th of March 1917 in London, England as he was appointed a commission in the Royal Flying Corps.
