Biography

William Brown enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 23 on the 17th of June 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Timber Worker. He volunteered and was stationed with the 5th Battalion, 8th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 2558. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 28th of March 1919.
