Biography
Born in Huddersfield, England, Fred Hirst was a single 25 year old traveller at the time of his enlistment on the 30th of October 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board RMS Orontes on the 23rd of December 1916.
On the 1st of November 1919, Fred was discharged in London, England due to being demobilised.
