Biography

George Colin Buchanan was a 19 year old student when he enlisted at Ballarat on 6th August 1915. He was born in Ballarat. He was allocated to the 14th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2463. Later he was transferred to the 46th Infantry battalion. He was killed in action during the First Battle of Bullecourt. His name is recorded on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
