Biography

Born in Ballarat, George Robert Mansfield was a single 30 year old tailor when he enlisted on the 16th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on the 7th of March 1916.
George returned to Australia on the 27th of November 1919, and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 30th of January 1920.
