Biography

Stanley Rupert Pascoe (SN 1360) was born in Ballarat and was an 18 year old clerk when he enlisted on July 17th 1917. On October 26th he embarked aboard the Hawkes Bay and sailed to Egypt to serve with the 8th Light Horse Regiment. Aside from a bout of tonsilitis in July 1918, his service passed without major incident. He left Egypt aboard the Morvada on July 20th 1919 and returned to Australia where he was discharged on October 17th 1919. He also enlisted again during World War 2.
