Biography

Owen William Eason ,Regimental No. 4184, was a member of the 14th Infantry Battalion. He joined on 9th July 1915. He was born at Winter's Flat, and was a farmer at Scotsburn. He was 21 and single. On the 29th of August 1916 he was killed in the fighting at Mouquet Farm. His name is recorded on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial,
France.
