Biography

Royden Bennett was born in Brighton. He was 25 years old, and a married farmer when he enlisted at Ballarat on 9th July 1915. He was a member of the 7th Infantry Battalion with Regimental No.5342. After the fighting around Pozieres he was declared missing, but a Court of Enquiry determined that he had been killed in action. His name is recorded in the Pozieres British Cemetery, France.รก
