Biography

Charles Lloyd Brimacombe (SN 4073) attended the Sebastopol Primary School before becoming a clerk. He was 18 years of age when he enlisted on July 10th 1915. He trained in Ballarat and Broadmeadows before embarking in March 1916 to serve with the 21st Battalion. He was killed in the fighting at Mouquet Farm near Pozieres and is buried in the Regina Trench Cemetery at Grandcourt, France. He was 19 years of age.
