Biography

Stanley Alexander Heathcote was a maltster living in Ballarat when he enlisted on 10th July 1915. He was 22 years old, and single. He was posted to the 24th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 2377. He had been born in Ballarat West. He was killed in action on 10th July 1915. His name is on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
