Biography

Henry Heaford Ramage was born in Ballarat and was a coachbuilder in Ballarat East when he enlisted on 10th July 1915. He was 19 years old and single. He was drafted into the 6th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 3921. Later he was transferred to the 1st Pioneer Battalion. He was killed in action in Polygon Wood on 29th July 1917, and is buried in Belgium Battery Corner Cemetery, Ypres, Belgium
