Biography

Percy Thompson Fricker was born in Maryborough, and enlisted in Wendouree on 12th April 1915. He was years old, single, and a butcher. He was posted to 22nd Battalion with Regimental No. 1223. He was wounded at Gallipoli and was being evacuated by sea to UK when his condition became worse and he was hospitalised in a British Hospital at Malta. He died of pneumonia on 16th November 1915, and is buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
