Biography

William Stanislaus Davies was born in Ballarat, Victoria was single and was employed as a Mining Machinery Contractor. He enlisted in Broadmeadows, Victoria at the age of 24. He volunteered and was stationed with the 4th Tunnelling Company later transferring to the the 2nd Tunnelling Company with the Regimental number 4040. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 4th of June 1919. Tree number 946.
