Biography

Annie Serjeant was born in Melbourne, Victoria, was single and a Nurse living in Ballarat when she enlisted with the Nurses (July 1915 - Nov 1918) on 18 May 1917 at the age of 26. Her unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board RMS Mooltan on 12 June 1917. She joined the 60th General Hospital on 13 August 1917 where she served until returning to the UK on 14 February 1919. She returned home to Australia aboard the Wandilla on 29 March 1919.
