Biography

Nelila Leitch was a single 30 year old nurse at the time of her enlistment on the 22nd of August 1916. Her unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board R.M.S. Kashgar on the 2nd of September 1916.
On the 1st of July 1917, Nelila was promoted to Temporary Sister.
She returned to Australia on the 25h of April 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of her enlistment period on the 22nd of June 1916.
