Elizabeth Agnes Thompson enlisted as a Nurse at the age of 26 on the 26th of December 1916. She had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Nurse. She volunteered and was stationed in Bombay, India with the Australian Army Nursing Service at numerous Military Hospitals. She was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 10th of January 1920.
