Biography

George Herbert Pollard enlisted in Cootamundra, New South Wales at the age of 33 on the 9th of March 1916.He had been born in Clunes, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Motor Mechanic and Driver. He volunteered and was stationed with the 4th Australian Divisional Ammunition Column later transferring to the 2nd Australian Divisional Mechanic Transport Company, with the Regimental number 28893. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 7th of July 1919. Tree number 1011.
