Biography

Born in Windermere, Victoria, Charles Henderson was a single 19 year old farmer at the time of his enlistment on the 18th of April 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on the 28th of July 1916.
On the 13th of August 1917, Charles embarked for England due to an injury. He returned to Australia on the 21st of November 1917 and was discharged as medically unit on the 18th of January 1918 with an injury to his right foot.
