Biography

Born in Illabrook, Victoria and a Butcher by trade, Herbert Victor Burnett 24 years and married when enlisted on the 26th of July 1915 in the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, Australian Imperial Force, with the rank of Private, Number 14025. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A7 'Medic' on the 20th of May 1916 and and was listed as returned to Australia per 'Borda' for Nursing staff ex England on the 11th of May 1919 and Disembarked on the 27th of June 1919. Discharged from the 3rd Military District with termination of period of enlistment on the 11th of August 1919. Tree No. 1217
