Biography

Alfred Charles Campbell Briant was 22 years old, unmarried and working as a warehouseman in Ballarat when he enlisted on 19th August 1914. He was born in Colac. He joined the 6th Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 695. He was killed in action at The Nek, Gallipoli on 8th May 1915. His name is recorded on the Helles Memorial, Gallipoli.
