Biography

Charles Hasting Hare was born in Ballarat and on 19th July 1915 he enlisted from Ballarat East. He was 27 years old, single and a horse driver. He was posted to the 23rd Infantry Battalion with Regimental No. 2266. He was seriously wounded at Bullecourt and died on 3rd May 1917. He is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery, France.
