Biography

Michael Doyle was born in Berringa. He was 30 years old, single and a machinist from Ballarat. He enlisted ion 51st Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 1641. He was killed in the fighting at Zonnebeke on 12th October 1917, in Belgium. His name is on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
