Harry Stanley Brokenshire, a Ballarat-born Clerk, enlisted in the Divisional Ammunition Column as a Driver on 15 September 1915. He was 25 years old at enlistment and single. He was promoted to Bombardier on 15 March 1916. He returned to Australia for discharge on 21 April 1918.
