Biography

Campbell Brokenshire (SN 3302) born at Ballarat, was a 20 year old clerk when he enlisted in Ballarat on March 22nd 1915. On August 30th he embarked aboard the Scotian bound for Gallipoli to serve with the 6th Field Ambulance. In November an eruption of eczema, a condition he had for most of his life, forced his evacuation. He was then returned to Australia on nursing duty aboard the Ulysses and discharged as medically unfit on April 19th 1916.
