Arthur Robert Ellis was born in Ballarat, Victoria was single and was employed as a Draper. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 23. He volunteered and was stationed with the 39th Battalion, Australian Medical Corps with the Regimental number 1194. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 30th of April 1919. Tree number 2016.
