Frederick Charles Ellis enlisted in Blackboy Hill, Western Australia at the age of 28 on the 14th of September 1914. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was Married, and was employed as a Warehouseman. He volunteered and was stationed with the 12th Battalion, A Company later transferring to the Australian Ordnance Depot as Regimental number 910. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 23rd of October 1918. Tree number 2580.
