William Garnet Ockleshaw Eggington was born in Geelong, Victoria was single and was employed as a Musician. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 24. He volunteered and was stationed with the 58th Battalion, 2nd Reinforcement with the Regimental number 1679. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 30th of January 1919. Tree number 2079.
