Leslie Sneddon was born in Ballarat East and enlisted there on 4th February 1916. He was 22 years old, single, and a railway employee. He was posted to the 22nd Infantry Battalion, with Regimental No. 4541. On the 7th November 1916 he was killed in action at Pozieres. His name is recorded on Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
