Biography

Leslie Robert Tucker was born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single and a student when he enlisted with the 2nd Field Ambulance, Section C on 29 January 1915 at the age of 22. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A31 Ajana on 4 June 1915. Whilst overseas in France he returned to England, suffering from Trench Feet, re-joining his unit in France on 2 June 1917.
