Francis Bartlett Hunt was a married 33 year old miner at the time of his enlistment on the 12th of July 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on the 11th of September 1916.
Francis returned to Australia on the 24th of September 1917 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 3rd of November 1917 due to rheumatism.
